While Team Zym travels through the kingdom of Katolis to reach The Border, they are faced with several emotional hardships, including a test of trust with Claudia and Soren, as well as a first direct experience with dark magic. Callum learns the truth about events of the past revolving around the death of Avizandum and, after turbulent ship travel, the conflict between humanity and Xadia becomes a painfully clear reality.
